Ever wanted to add music to your Notion page? Well, you're at the right place! In this article, we'll teach you the quick and easy steps required to connect Spotify to Notion.

The process is very easy, and we're going to show you how awesome it really is by illustrating just how easy the user interface for both Spotify and Notion are

Why connect Spotify to Notion?

One of the best benefits of embedding Spotify to Notion is that you can show off your favourite tunes to others.

For instance, you can simply recommend your music to people and share what tunes you're currently into on your personal page.

It is possible to use Spotify as an audio player on your Notion page, plus you don't have to upload different sound effects separately!

This way, people will see your favourite tunes on your Notion page. They won’t even need to leave Notion!

How to add Spotify to Notion

It’s really easy embedding Spotify to Notion. You can do this with songs, playlists, podcasts and whatever else you can find on Spotify.

For this guide, we've used as an example our free Notion Info Product Template. Click on the blue text to get access to it!

1. Open Spotify

First things first, go to Spotify and select one of your preferred songs, playlist, album, podcast etc.

Once you’re there, hit the three-dot icon next to the green play button.

On the dropdown, make sure to select “Share”, and then “Embed playlist/album/song/etc”.

2. Make an embeddable link

Now you’ve reached the point where you have to customise your preview of the Spotify embed in Notion.

Once you’re done customising, make sure to select the “COPY” button.

3. Create an embed block

Heading to Notion, you now have to make an embeddable block where you’ll add your Spotify link that’s just been copied at the second step.

In Notion, type “/embed” and select the “Embed” block.

4. Paste the Spotify link

In the pop-up shown after you’ve made the “Embed” block, you’ll need to paste the link that you’ve just copied in Spotify.

Done that? Cool! Be sure to select the blue “Embed” button in order to finalise the process.

Congrats, you’ve now just embedded Spotify into Notion! How awesome is that?

Remember that you can also change the height and the width of your Spotify preview. In our case, we've made it so small in order to fit within the template.

To embed your Spotify playlist in Notion, follow these steps:

  1. Open Spotify;
  2. Generate an embed link of your playlist;
  3. Open a Notion page;
  4. Paste the Spotify link to embed it.
